The bees collect tree resins and mix them with their own beeswax and enzymes to form this useful, sticky substance. Not only is this beneficial for bees, but it is also great for humans. It is an organic antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal, product that serves as a natural health booster! 🍯
It is effective at treating and preventing sore throats, cold sores, supporting gum health, and as a topical antibiotic for small cuts and scrapes (Caution: test for skin reaction to tree resin and/or alcohol content). Due to its antioxidant activity, it is commonly associated with better immune health. 🩹
We offer propolis in 2 forms: tincture and honey.
- Propolis tincture is available in 30mL spray bottle or a 30mL dropper bottle. This form of propolis is a concentrated, alcohol-based extract that is more common in topical administration.
- Propolis honey is available in a 45g jar. This is ideal if you enjoy the sweet taste of honey as this form of propolis combines the natural benefits from honey and propolis into one palatable creation. It is more commonly used for daily consumption, however, it is also possible to use as a topical antibiotic.
